Ahmedabad is the capital of a state called Gujarat. The flea market here is on the banks of the river "Sabarmati" and the place where Gandhiji was housed.
The flea market here happens on every Sunday from 6.am to 6.pm. People travel from the near by villages to sell their cattle, used furniture, gadgets, antique artifacts, street food (as always), home appliances, clothes too!
The pictures here are mostly entertaining because they are sometimes overwhelming and obnoxious.

Local markets are a must visit in India because there is so much life in them. The colors, the people and the most bizarre things that you would never come across anywhere else! Its a temporary Masquerade!
